Anjelika Akbar composed music for “Beni Unutma” a movie to touch depths of your heart. For “Beni Unutma”, a film about two young people who meets each other unexpectedly and bound by a great love, Akbar composed 35 pieces.

Anjelika Akbar composed the soundtrack for “Beni Unutma” the second movie by the director of “Takva” screened in 2005, Özer Kızıltan. The film of which cast includes Mert Fırat, Açelya Yılhan, Tuba Ünsal, Ünal Silveri Aliye Uzunatağan and Kenan Ece was produced by AFS, the producer of movies by Ferzan Özpetek. In the movie whose scenario was written by Burak Görol, there are 35 pieces composed b Akbar.

Having composed the music for the movie accordingly to its scenario, Anjelika Akbar defined a specific theme for each main character in the movie. Akbar, who made arrangements with various instruments of these themes which enframed soundtrack, used same themes in tragic, romantic, lively or melancholic moods. In addition to themes for characters, having made exclusive compositions for significant scenes, she stated that long or short,  all of her compositions are related and sequel to each other. Virtually having written a scenario, Akbar arranged her works particular to each scene in the movie.

Anjelika Akbar, who used an ancient piano owned by famous architecture Nevzat Sayın for special effects while playing her pieces, also lived out her long waited dreams about this piano. With special request by prominent director Ferzan Özpetek on whose anticipation she trusts a lot, Akbar used Turkish percussions in one of her piece’s motifs.
Original soundtrack album of “Beni Unutma” by Anjelika Akbar, who completed all of her compositions for the movie in a such a short amount of time as a month and half, is expected to be avaible in November.
